Spring 2016

The Creative Arts Camp Kids made this video using the water color paintings they made with Mrs. Gray, three green plastic table cloths from the Dollar Store, binder clips, tape, an iPhone, and a Mac (iMovie). The acting challenge was to analyze their paintings and figure out how they were going to travel across them, and then do it.

Sold Out! - GO ART! had 28 students from grades 2-6 attending their first ever Creative Arts Camp from March 21-25, 2016. Pictured above are students taking classes in Clay Modeling, Colombian Dance, and Drawing.

We had a busy week with so many great experiences, such as Colombian Dance, Latin Drumming, Mexican Paper Cutting, Steel Drumming, Water Color Painting, Plaster Creations, Clay Modeling, Photography, Green Screening, and Drawing.

We really must give a huge “shout out” to Applied Business Systems (ABS, Inc.) for their generous sponsorship of our camp and of course a big thank you to Brian and Beth at T-Shirts, Etc., for letting us screen print our camp shirt! With the support of local business like ABS, T-Shirts Etc., Art Ah La Carte, and Glassroots we were able to provide an amazing program. Thank you!
