Carmella Monet Monroe is making a return to her Hometown of Batavia NY for it’s first ever
Pride! Carmella is beyond excited for this amazing moment. Carmella currently lives in
Charleston SC where she is a professional Drag Entertainer, as a drag entertainer Carmella has
had the opportunity to perform and travel all over the states of SC, NC, GA, VA, NY, and more.
Carmella is the Current reigning Empress Of Charleston Pride. Carmella has been doing drag
for 5 years but before drag Carmella had been doing theatre since the young age of 8. The
many years of theatre experience has helped and contributed to her success as a Drag Queen.
Performing is Carmella’s favorite thing to do, along with performing she loves to help raise
money for charities. Carmella does many benefit shows for different organizations such as: The
Breast Cancer Research Foundation, Trans Love Fund, Ryan White Foundation, The Trevor
Project, and many more. Carmella along with the rest of the Drag Cast at Dudley’s on ann has
Raised over $10,000 for charity. When Carmella is not on the stage Blake spends his days
sewing and creating new outfits and gowns for his upcoming performances as Carmella and for
other Drag Queens. The now known Blue Eyed Broadway Baby of SC is ready to perform and
show Batavia what Carmella is made of! Happy Pride Batavia, and here’s to many more!
The festival will take place on Bank Street by the GO ART! Building (Seymour Place), between Main Street and Alva Place. The street portion of the festival will run from 7 pm to 10 pm. Luka, a singer songwriter artist who grew up in in Bergen, New York, is excited to be performing at the first ever
Batavia, New York Pride Parade & Festival.
Luka released his debut album, Does Anybody Hear Me in 2017 and his hit single King Bee. King Bee became a viral video on social media with over 170,000+ views and counting.
GO ART1's Tavern 2.o.1 will be open from 7 pm to 2 am for the festival.
The most fabulous pianist in all the land, Mrs. Theresa Kehl will be hosting a piano bar from 8 pm - however long people are still singing (10 pm or 2 am, you decide). You bring your own sheet music or use ours and sing, sing, sing! Celbrate Judy Garland, just like they were doing 50 years ago at the Stonewall Inn before the police raided the bar and The Riots began.
