The Batavia City Canvas Trail is giving a CALL TO ARTISTS. The Batavia City Canvas Art Trail is a grassroots initiative to bring more feet downtown by creating an outdoor-art walkable experience for our residents and visitors. They are asking the artists to donate their time and talents to paint the artwork. Artists must supply an inspiration piece to be approved by the building owner. Their goal is to have at least 20-30 featured pieces of art.

Artwork would consist of current pieces as well a newly created art. The artwork would be marked with an Art Trail marker. The Art Trail would be open night and day. We will plan out Art Walks as a community event to showcase the Art Trail. Residents/Visitors will be able to pick up the Art Trail map from local businesses/organizations and walk it at their leisure.

Please contact Brian Kemp at 345-1993 or email BataviaCityCanvsArtTrail@gmail.com if you would like to be a sponsor, donor, artist or any combination. Thank you for your time, consideration and please spread the word. Deadline is ongoing but be proactive and get your name, donations, and sponsorships in NOW!
