Please take a minute and read over the gallery guidelines before you fill out the application.  You may not be eligible to display your work at GO ART!

GO ART! Gallery Guidelines

1.  Artists desiring to exhibit at the GO ART! Gallery must fill out an application form and submit it to GO ART! along with 8-10 photo or slide samples of work.   If work is in progress, a detailed description of the project should be attached.

2.  All work must be original and new to GO ART! exhibit.  No work done under the direction of an instructor or done in art class is allowed.

3.  There is no charge for exhibiting at the GO ART! Gallery but GO ART! will receive 10% commission from the artist of all work sold.

4.  All paintings and drawings must be framed, wired and ready for hanging.

5.  The gallery has some display cases and pedestals available.  Check with GO ART! staff if you have special display needs.

6.  The GO ART! Gallery Committee reserves the right to restrict the number and size of items to be displayed.

7.  The GO ART! Gallery Committee reserves the right to restrict subject matter.

8.  The artist will bring in work as scheduled.  Artist will hang his/her own work.  The complete exhibit will stay up for the full time allotted.  Artist will take down work as scheduled.  

9.  The Artists Reception is the responsibility of the artist, including food, drink and invitations.  

10.  GO ART! will advertise & publicize the exhibit, opening and provide programs for the exhibit.

11.  The artist will submit a list and description of work at least two weeks prior to shows so programs can be printed.

12.  The artist will send publicity materials such as bio and photo a minimum of thirty days before opening of exhibit.

13.  Insurance is the responsibility of the artist.

14.  Any packing and shipping charges, insurance costs, other handling expenses and risk of loss or damage incurred in the delivery of the works of art from the artist to GO ART! and in their return, shall be artist's responsibility.
