"Culture Creating Community"…GO ART! helps to promote arts and cultural programming in Genesee and Orleans Counties through the production of a quarterly calendar of cultural events (click here). In addition, GO ART! presents ongoing gallery exhibits and demonstrations, youth activities, arts and crafts shows, folk arts documentation and programs. We also actively participate in community cultural planning, helping to create a tourist-based economy for the area by presenting events in a wholesome environment for the family.

Artists’ and Art Collectors’ Collaborative Workshop Series

A dual series of dynamic workshops bringing artists and arts collectors together to enrich and grow our vital arts community. ARTISTS SERIES

The Wednesday evening workshop series and the Saturday Artists’ Studio Tour provides a broad overview of selling your art regionally, and exploring new markets and techniques used by artists today to promote and sell their work in the global marketplace. Topics range from the artist’s dream of having someone purchase everything you ever made, getting into new galleries, as well as creating your own opportunities for success. Learn how to conduct a studio tour for your new collectors. We will also make our own artists materials: grapevine charcoal, charcoal sticks, pastels, oil pastels, paper making and bamboo brushes.
